About Altralogic
Why we started
We started Altralogic because we enjoy designing things. With 20 years of experience designing computer enclosures, we saw some interesting challenges in the AV and broadcast industries—particularly around mounting Apple computers in equipment racks.
That led us to develop our own chassis designs and work on custom designs for customers.
How we approach design
We try to combine practicality, aesthetics and performance. A chassis should be straightforward to install and use, look good in a rack, and allow the equipment inside it to work properly.
Cooling is a particular focus for us. We’ve seen rack-mount solutions where thermal performance appears to be an afterthought, even though the computers may be running demanding workloads for long periods.
We consider airflow and cooling from the start, alongside access, cable routing and ease of installation. Fitting a computer into a rack is only part of the job; how it performs once it’s there matters just as much.
What we’re working on
Our first products focus on rack mounting Apple Mac mini computers. Alongside these, we’re developing further designs and continuing to work on custom projects.
